Colorfabb used the OpenRC Truggy to market their XT-CF20 (carbon fiber infused Co-Polyester) in the past by printing the entire car in that same filament. It´s a special feeling to see a company like ColorFabb using your designs to market their products.
It´s BIG
This time they decided to go BIG and scale up the OpenRC F1 250% which is down right crazy! The car is approximately 1 meter long and to build it they used several of they Co-Polyester filaments, XT-CF20, XT, HT and nGen-Flex.
Engineering at it´s best
But to make things even more crazy they decided they wanted it driveable to. And because of the sheer size of the car they had to redesign the steering aswell as design a entire gearbox from scratch, which i might add they did a fantastic job with.
