On the hardware side of things the plastic parts holding the X-axis in place has been replaced by aluminium parts. The plastic extruder carriage is now also made of alumininum.

Better Cooling

There is a all new solution for active cooling. A new fan (with variable speed) and fan duct makes for better cooling and as a added bonus cleaning the drive gear is now a breeze.

On the software side of things the motion planner algorithm and the extrusion algorithms have had it´s fair share of attention resulting in less vibrations and improved retractions.

OpenRC F1

To top it of the ZYYX+ is showcased with the latest addition to the OpenRC project, the 3D Printed, radiocontrolled Formula 1 car.
